Orion's Belt

Location:      Tucson Arizona - Empire Ranch Dark Site     

Equipment:   200mm f 3.5 Soligor Telephoto Lens, Equatorial Camera Platform, Manually guided using an Orion Short Tube 80.

Conditions:   Outstanding - Dark and Clear

Film:             Kodak Ektapress PJ 400

Exposure:     10 Minutes

Comments:   A nice piggyback type shot.  You can see M42 and many surrounding NGC objects in the "sword" of Orion.  You can also see the Horsehead Nebula (B 33) and the Flame Nebula (NGC 2024).  The straight line is a satellite trail.
