NGC2264 The Cone Nebula

Date:              March 28, 2008

Location:        Seven Sisters Observatory - Manchester MI   

Equipment:    Megrez 90 APO, FFIII, Canon 10D Modified 

Conditions:     good transparency - some humidity

Film:               None!  DSLR @ ISO 800    

Exposure:       22 X 300 seconds with 3 X 300 seconds dark frames

Comments:     It took a fair amount of processing but the cone nebula, the Christmas tree cluster, Hubble's Variable Nebula and some of Trumpler 24 is visible as well as hints of the foxfur nebula.
