M81 - M82

Date:              June 1, 2008

Location:        Seven Sisters Observatory - Manchester MI   

Equipment:    Megrez 90 APO, FFIII, IDAS LPR filter, Canon 10D Modified 

Conditions:     Nicest night in a good while

Film:               None!  DSLR @ ISO 800    

Exposure:       8 X 900 seconds with 3 X 900 seconds dark frames

Comments:     I need to try the processing on this again.  I got some nice arm detail but the center of each galaxy is blown out.   Of course - more focal length would be a big help on these galaxy targets.
