The SMURFS 2000 Star Party turned out to be a wonderful time. While the weather in the Detroit area was fairly bad we had pretty good nights in Hillman. I attended from Monday until Sunday and we had only one night that was unusable due to rain. There were two nights that had just fantastic weather for astrophotography. The images that I took came out well enough although there are improvements that can and will be made.
