Zodacial Light

Date:            February 1999

Location:      Echo Canyon Parking Lot - Chiricahua Mountains Arizona

Equipment:  Canon F-1, 24mm Lens, equatorial camera platform

Conditions:   Very dark - best I have seen.  Lots of dust in the air.

Film:             Kodak Ektapress PJ400

Exposure:     6 minutes

Comments:   The zodiacial light was very prominent here, brighter even than the picture shows.  You can see Venus, Jupiter and Saturn lined up right on the ecliptic.  The 24mm lens does a better job on this subject than the 17mm lens that I tried on a later trip.
