IC 443 Supernova Remnant in Gemini
|
Cold and clear, a nice night for the end of February in Manchester. Exposure is 12 X 900 seconds light frames with 2 X 900 sec darks and 10 flat frames. I am generally happy with the image although I would like to tone down the two bright stars in the frame. That is the "cost" of using relatively long sub frames. I am fascinated by the additional dim nebulosity in the upper right and I think more sub frames will bring more detail out here.
